Another Milestone

Today I go help this one, our oldest, open a checking account; she leaves in a week. Unbelievable. Another responsibility along with college, exams, laundry, scheduling, scholarship requirements, etc. Seriously, somebody tell me when this happened. When??!
It wasn't that long ago that she came into our world and made us parents. It wasn't that long ago that she needed us for everything; looking to us for all the answers. Now, she has many of the answers we need. Now, she is moving towards greater independence. As it should be, but not without many difficult moments for her mom and dad. Don't tell her though, we just keep smiling...
