Field Trip

The Terra Cotta Army is from the Qing Dynasty. In 1974, workers in China were busy digging a new well when they made this amazing discovery. They are the funerary statues for Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi.

It was a busy day, but very enjoyable. We were able to see some of the statues, other artifacts and then saw pieces from the Louvre. Wow!!!

After the museum we ate at an old favorite that serves southern cooking. It is a landmark where I grew up and the Banana Pudding will make you 'slap yo momma'!

We came home tired and happy...
