We started decorating the outside with some branches from Christmas trees the Boy Scouts are selling. The girls got busy putting them together to put in various places.
I love the rustic, woodsy look. It certainly goes right along with our cabin.

lisa...i love it...i too used was mixing and matching up christmas and harvest decor...
read your earlier post about feeling inadequate and generally feeling out of sorts...i think every women goes thru this especially when much is expected of us or think is expected.
sometimes just voicing it can help but also simplifing what we think we should do helps...my prayer is that you thoroughly enjoy this season of when our saviour was born and celebrate with your family.
