We then went to the new Chick-fil-A in a nearby town. It opened today on Sarah's birthday. WOW! (we told her it opened on her birthday just for her, I don't think she believed us)

Then it was off to the Dept. of Driver Services (DMV in my day) to take 'THE TEST'. Both of us were so nervous; I prayed while she took the test. She passed!! Her license picture is great and she drove us home.
Hannah made Sarah a Red Velvet cake as she had requested. It was delicious.
Her dad went to Atlanta today for business and returned with a very special gift. A Mandolin!!! (she has been using her teachers) Sarah was so shocked, none of us knew about it. It is beautiful.
To top of the wonderful day we went to eat Japanese for dinner. DeGina and the kids joined us and we had a great time. Our chef was hilarious and had all of us trying to catch rice in our mouth. We laughed so hard. Of course they brought Sarah out a piece of cheese cake for dessert, she didn't want it so DeGina and I ate it!

It has been a wonderful day for Sarah and all of us. Today we celebrated her birth and value as apart of this family. Hannah said it best, " She’s become this awesome bluegrass loving, mandolin playing, Jesus following young woman. She rocks."
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.
